I am so ready to garden outside. I have big plans for my garden and I am so excited at the thought of having fresh fruits and vegetables available to me. Anyone else dream of that? Anyway, I got so excited this weekend that I asked AJ nicely( with pouty eyes and lips ) to please start on my box. He set up shop in the garage and went to work. First things first, he had to break down this large solid wood to put together this box. He broke it down and bolted it together. It took about an hour to put it together. We will put a finish on it and make it look pretty. Now I am forced to prepare to start my research on planting greens. Swiss chard and collard greens are my greens of choice. (I purchased these seeds from Home Depot .) Since it gets really hot here, Collards and Swiss Chard are heat tolerant vegetables making for a good summer harvest. ~MARCH 2, 2019~ BOY....where do I start? When I tell you we have been through it all, there is no lie! He and I are in the best place we have ever been. 2005 was when it all started and here we are now in 2019...HAPPY! We had to grow up, mature and be open to change for this to work. A lot of people think "Oh that's the father of your child so there is no surprise". I will tell you this...only GOD could have took us, broken us, teach us what love is and bring us back to each other when WE were ready and prepared. Thank God for all of the people who prayed for us, gave us encouraging words, believed in us and was rooting for us. Our love and understanding is stronger than ever! Please understand that our daughter was not our reason to be together. It was because we wanted this to work so we did the work. I am a creative with many projects ahead of me. I am also taking my family along this journey with me. Thank God they are just as excited and creative as me! My mission with this blog is FINALLY mesh all my interests and God-given gifts into a beautiful transformative project called Staci's World. I must share with the world this journey because I believe that God has created this space for me to do what I am intended to do. I am growing herbs y'all! I am starting my garden and I'm starting small with Oregano, Parsley and Thyme on this go around. It is starting to grow and it has been the easiest process so far. Literally plant a few seeds, cover up, water every other day and sun and Viola.... This is so exciting! I will keep you updated as I go but I wanted to show y'all the progress in the past 2 weeks!

I am beyond excited to start this blog! It has been long overdue but right on time. I am in an interesting place in my life. I hardly recognize this version of me but nonetheless overjoyed by the personal changes I have made thus far. To sum it up, I’ve learned that life is better lived on the positive tip. It seems like an easy thing to do but really I think that some people are capable of doing it naturally and others have to learn it. I happen to be a part of the latter. It’s hard sometimes but blaming yourself and others only gets you so far. But I am here to tell you that it is possible and in fact your life will change immensely. Your outlook and the trajectory of your life shifts for the better. I am here to share my interests, my projects to spread positivity and inspiration.
